What commercial diesel engines will I learn to diagnose and repair?
You will train directly on industry-standard Class 8 diesel engines including Cummins ISX, Cummins X15, and Detroit Diesel DD15 powerplants. Training includes fuel system diagnostics, turbocharger maintenance, high-pressure common rail injection, cylinder head service, and electronic fault code analysis.
Is diagnostic scan tool training included in the diesel engines course?
Yes. Students learn to use modern electronic diagnostic scan tools, connect via SAE J1939 diagnostic ports, read and clear fault codes, interpret live engine sensor telemetry, and troubleshoot ECM communications on real commercial tractors.
How much is tuition for the heavy-duty diesel engines training?
Tuition for the complete heavy-duty truck repair program (including the diesel engines module) is $1,875 total with a low down payment of $475 to get started. Flexible, pay-as-you-go installments are available with 0% interest and no student loan debt.
When are diesel engine classes held?
Classes meet every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at our Tehachapi fleet yard. This weekend-only schedule allows you to maintain full-time weekday employment while learning hands-on.
